Bangladeshis' deposits in Swiss banks have plummeted incredibly quickly. In only one year, Bangladeshis have taken out 10.5 billion dollars from Swiss banks. By the end of 2022, Bangladeshi deposits had decreased to just 5.5 million Swiss francs from 871.1 million Swiss francs in 2021. The Central Bank of Switzerland's annual report contains this information. The research offers no explanation as to why Bangladeshis withdrew such a sizable sum of money in a single year.
